During visit on Monday, one correspondent found Sumon's father Mujibur works as a decorator and his mother who is a housewife. He has two brothers and two sisters. Among them, Sumon is the youngest one. The two sisters got married off.

One of his brothers runs a small business in the village. His father has to pay the cost of study with great difficulty.

Sumon said, "I am very happy after hearing my result in SSC examination. I have always been interested in studies since childhood. My parents helped me with finances amid poverty. Now I will apply to a college and after that to a university. I want to be a high government officer after completing my education."
