IFIC Bank Limited held its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and the 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) at the Officers' Club in the city on Thursday.
Presided over by Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Ahmed Shayan Falzur Rahman, the meeting was attended by directors of the bank Rabeya Jamali, Jalal Ahmed, ARM NazmusSakib and Quamrun Naher Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO M Shah A Sarwar and Company Secretary Md Mokammel Hoque, said a statement.
In presence of a good number of shareholders of the bank, the AGM approved the audited financial statements for the year ended on December 31, 2018 and 10 per cent stock dividend while the EGM approved the rights shares at 1R:1.
Ahmed Shayan Fazlur Rahman concluded both the meetings by expressing the hope that the organisation will continue to grow with sincere efforts of all concerned.
