Nat’l Fruit Exhibition begins Friday

The National Fruit Tree Planting Fortnight and ‘National Fruit Exhibition’ under the initiative of Agriculture Ministry will begin at Krishibid Institution at Farmgate in the city on Friday.

The exhibition will continue till June 24 while the National Tree Planting fortnight will end on July 6.

President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages wishing all-out success of all the programmes, reports BSS.

The inaugural function will be held at Krishibid Institution auditorium at 10:00am. Later, a seminar will also be held.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque will attend the seminar as the chief guest while Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury will join it as the special guest.
