Train tickets can be bought thru’ app from Apr 28

Commuters can now avail train ticket through an online application from April 28 as the railway ministry is set to inaugurate the software.

The decision was taken at a meeting between the railway minister Md. Nurul Islam Sujon and railway officials at the Kamalapur Railway station on Thursday.

50 per cent of the total available train tickets can be brought through the app. The rest will have to be collected from railway stations.

The minister also informed that Eid holiday makers can buy advance ticket from a total of six rail stations including five in the city.

The tickets booth are—Dhaka University, Phulbaria, Kamalapur Railway station, Mirpur, Biman Bandar railway station and Joydebpur to Gazipur.
