ULAB observes international mother language day

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has arranged a discussion cultural programme for the observance of International Mother Language Day.

ULAB Emeritus Prof Rafiqul Islam, scholar and luminary of the language movement, was present at the function held at its Dhanmondi campus on Sunday.

ULAB Treasurer Prof Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee inaugurated a book and photography exhibition, according to a press release. 

All the photographs were of the language movement, most of them taken by ULAB Emeritus Prof Rafiqul Islam, said the release.

Registrar Prof Akhtar Ahmed, Prof Syed Manzoorul Islam, faculty members, admin members and students of the university also joined the ceremony.
