Bangladesh set a target of 256 runs in the second match of three-match ODI series against West Indies at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Earlier, the visiting West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first against Bangladesh in the series decider match.

Bangladesh made no change in their playing XI. But the Windies brought one change to their playing XI as Kieran Powell overlooked to pave the way for Chandrapaul Hemraj.

The match could be a series-winning affair for the Tigers with one match to be played on 14 December as the hosts won the first match of the series by five wickets.

At the time of the toss, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza equalled Habibul Bashar's record of leading Bangladesh for most ODIs.

Habibul Bashar was the other captain of Bangladesh who led the Tigers in 69 ODIs. In his tenure, Bangladesh won 29 ODIs. Mashrafe already surpassed him as the Tigers won 39 before today's match, according to a UNB report.

This match will be marked as the 100th appearance together of Bangladesh's fabulous-five comprising Mashrafe Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Mahmudullah Riyad.

In the first match of the series, Bangladesh played almost a perfect game. They showed firm confidence while limiting the Windies for only 195 runs. They displayed rigid batting while chasing the sub-par total as well.

Mashrafe, who completed the milestone of playing 200 ODI in the last match, took three scalps registering best bowling figures for the team. Mustafizur Rahman emulated him bagging another three wickets. And Mushfiqur Rahim hit an unbeaten 50 to ensure the win.

Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain.

West Indies XI: Chandrapaul Hemraj, Shai Hope (wk), Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell (capt), Roston Chase, Keemo Paul, Devendra Bishoo, Kemar Roach and Oshane Thomas.
