Teams set for final warm-up

The ICC World Cup 2019 is just five-day away and the teams will be playing their warm-up matches before hitting the field to play for the mega title.

Before the grueling round-robin format begins, teams will have a chance to test their players and get used to the English conditions in the warm-up games starting today (Friday), reports agencies.

The 10 teams will play two warm-up games each before the mega event. The fans won't be just dependent on scorecards and match reports to know the results of the 10 warm-up games as all the games will be streamed.

These warm-up matches of the World Cup 2019 will continue till May 28, two days before the actual tournament begins.

Kicking things off will be Afghanistan, who will be facing their neighbours, Pakistan at the Bristol County Ground, Bristol. On the same day the Sri Lankan team will square off against South Africa at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

Bangladesh will play their two practice game against Pakistan and India on May 26 and 28 respectively, both at the Cardiff.

Meanwhile, the captains of all the 10 teams interacted together on the eve of the first warm-up match ahead of the blockbuster ICC World Cup 2019 which is scheduled to be played between May 30 and July 14.
