Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited (BNICL) approved 12 per cent cash dividend for the year 2018 at its 23rd annual general meeting (AGM) held at the Spectra Convention Centre in the city recently.
The meeting also approved the company's audited financial statements for the year ended on December 31, 2018.
Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman, director of the company, presided over the meeting.
Members of the Board of Directors and CEO Md Sana Ullah were present at the meeting, said a statement.
