The board of directors of Central Insurance Company has recommended a 12 per cent per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2023.
The final approval of the dividend will come during the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on June 12 at 11:00 am using the digital platform.
The record date is set on April 30, the company said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
The non-life insurer has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.98, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 49.96, and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 2.20 for the year ended on December 31, 2023, as against Tk 2.03, Tk 49.45, and Tk 2.51 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the insurance company today (Sunday) following its corporate declaration.
