BRAC Bank achieves Tk. 40b-mark in retail assets portfolio

BRAC Bank Limited has celebrated yet another milestone as its Retail Assets Portfolio climbed to Tk 40 billion-mark, said a statement.

BRAC Bank is currently the largest retail bank in the country in terms of Assets Portfolio with its remarkable growth in Home Loan, Car Loan, Credit Card and Personal Loan over the last two years.

"The achievement is another stepping stone for the bank on its journey to becoming the ‘Best Bank in Bangladesh’. The bank is reaping benefits of higher productivity and efficiency through investments in people, technology and processes that are certainly becoming instrumental to this phenomenal growth," the statement added.

Mr. A. K. Joaddar, Deputy Managing Director & CFO, Mr. Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Deputy Managing Director & CRO, Mr. Nazmur Rahim, Head of Retail Banking, Bilquis Jahan, Head of Human Resources, Mr. Kyser Hamid, Head of Retail Sales, Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Head of Corporate Branches, Branch Managers, Sales Team and senior management officials were all present at the celebration program at BRAC Bank Head Office at Tejgaon in Dhaka.
