Hong Kong stocks were nearly flat on Friday while, the Hang Seng Index was down 0.01 per cent at 32,640.12.
The sub-index of the Hang Seng index tracking energy shares rose 2.7 per cent while the IT sector fell 0.1 per cent.
Chinese H-shares listed in Hong Kong rose 0.5 per cent at 13,498.27, reports Reuters.
The top gainer on Hang Seng was AAC Technologies Holdings Inc up 7.0 per cent, while the biggest loser was China Merchants Port Holdings Co Ltd which was down 5.00 per cent.
