National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) topped the turnover chart of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) following investors' increased participation.
On Wednesday, the company posted a turnover of above Tk 158.30 million and grabbed 3.90 per cent of the market turnover.
The share price of the NLICL, however, declined 7.81 per cent or Tk 20.80 to close at Tk 247.90 each on the DSE.
Of other turnover leaders, Sinobangla Industries grabbed 2.3 per cent of the market turnover after featuring a value of Tk 92.60 million.
The company's share price closed at Tk 66 each with a rise of 4.89 per cent or Tk 3.10.
Rupali Insurance Company posted a turnover of Tk 92.20 million and grabbed 2.30 per cent of the market turnover.
The company's share price closed at Tk 25.10 each with a rise of 1.20 per cent or Tk 0.30.
Runner Automobiles grabbed 2.20 per cent of the market turnover after featuring a turnover of Tk 90.70 million.
The company's share price declined 3.26 per cent or Tk 3.40 to close at Tk 100.30 each.
The turnover of Pioneer Insurance was Tk 87.40 million. The company captured 2.10 per cent of the market turnover.
The company's share price advanced 8.60 per cent or Tk 3.0 to close at Tk 37.60 each.
Singer Bangladesh contributed 2.10 per cent in market turnover after featuring a turnover of Tk 83.90 million.
The company's share price rose 1.89 per cent or Tk 3.80 to close at Tk 205 each.
Of other turnover leaders, Asian Tiger Sandhani Life Growth Fund featured a turnover of Tk 82.70 million, Dhaka Insurance Tk 76.30 million, Grameenphone Tk 71.80 million and Paramount Textile Tk 70.30 million.
