The 18th annual general meeting (AGM) of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited was held at IDEB Bhaban in the city recently, according to a statement.
The shareholders approved 10 per cent stock dividend (bonus share) for the year 2017 at the AGM.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman Sheikh Kabir Hossain where Vice-Chairman Shahidul Islam Niru was present.
Other directors, industrialist and former president of FBCCI A. K. Azad on behalf of Modern Washing & Dyeing Industries Ltd., Md. Ruhul Amin, Ganga Charan Malakar, Motaleb Hossain, Kailash Chandra Barai, Independent Director Sagorika Barai, Delowar Hossain Raja, Nesar Ahamed, Khairul Hasan and Chief Executive Officer, Md. Abdul Khaleque Miah were also present in the meeting.
Besides, branch in-charges and senior executives of the company's head office were present in the meeting.
