The Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) recently awarded 19 officers and staff of the bank with Shudhyachar awards in recognition of their integrity, and for their contribution to the organisation.
They received the awards at the Shudhyachar (Integrity) Award Distribution Ceremony-2017 held during a training workshop at BKB's Staff College auditorium, says a statement.
Secretary, Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance Md. Asadul Islam was present as the chief guest and spoke.
Presided over by Managing Director of the bank Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, the programme was also attended by General Manager for Integrity Policy Implementation Cell of Bangladesh Bank Md. Mezbaul Haque.
Ali Hossain Prodhania presented a five-year action plan of the BKB.
In his speech, Asadul Islam expressed satisfaction on the data base action plan.
He laid special emphasis on utilising the National Integrity Policy of the government and urged to work with honesty, diligence and sincerity for making Sonar Bangla free from corruptions.
He distributed the Shudhyachar prizes among the recipients.
