ICSB arranges orientation programme for students of 42nd batch

Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) organised an orientation programme for the students of 42^nd Batch of Chartered Secretary Course at ICSB Campus at Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in the city on Saturday.

Mohammad Bul Hassan FCS, Senior Vice President of the ICSB welcomed the newly-admitted students.

Mohammad Sanuallah FIPM, FCS, President of the Institute inaugurated the programme greeting students and urged them to strive for academic excellence, personal values and social concern. He said that chartered secretary profession is a challenging and rewarding profession in the corporate world and talked about the plethora of opportunities in corporate sector at home and abroad. He also emphasized the need of value addition, creativity and innovation in order to show excellence in professional field and to set a golden platform for the future generation.

The ICSB president added that the Chartered Secretary is the recognised qualification to become a Company Secretary. Md. Selim Reza FCA, FCS, Vice President of the Institute discussed about the role of Chartered Secretaries in the corporate management and also corporate expectations from the new generation of management personnel.

The program was anchored by Kazi Shamsul Alam, Secretary, ICSB. Finally, Nazmul Karim FCS, Treasurer of the Institute offered vote of thanks on behalf of the Institute.
