Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has opened its 334th branch at South Banasree area in the capital.
Md Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank inaugurated the branch today (Saturday), according to a press statement.
Additional Managing Director of IBBL, Mohammed Monirul Moula addressed the programme as special guest while Deputy Managing Director, Abu Reza Md Yeahia presided over the ceremony.
Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, Senior Vice President and Head of Dhaka East Zone addressed welcome speech and Md Nazim Uddin, First Assistant Vice President and Head of the branch thanked the guests.
Alhaj Anisur Rahman Sarker, Councillor of Word No-2, Dhaka South City Corporation, Md Hanif, President of Dakkhin Banasree Plot Malik Kallyan Samiti, Dr Anowar Farazi, Chairman of Farazi Hospital and Moazzem Hossain, businessperson also spoke on the occasion on behalf of the clients and well-wishers.
Senior Executive Vice Presidents of the bank, Md Abdul Jabbar and Md Shafiqur Rahman, along with local businesspersons, professionals and social elites, attended the branch opening ceremony.
