Midland Bank distributes bicycles among female students

Midland Bank Limited has distributed bicycles among underprivileged female students of different school and madrasa in Bogura district.

The private bank gave the bicycles to the students under a special programme titled ‘Shapno Jatra’ of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a ceremony held on Monday.

The bank distributed the two-wheelers amongst the female students, who had to walk miles from their home to reach their educational institution, says a media release.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, managing director and the CEO of the Midland Bank, along with Md. Alamgir Kabir, UNO, Shibgonj Union, were present at the function held at its Mokamtola Branch in Bogura.

Md. Ridwanul Haque, head of retail distribution, Md. Ahsan Habib, head of Bogra brunch, Md. Rezaul Huq, head of Mokamtola brunch, were also present along with other officials of the bank.

Guardians of the students and teachers of the respective educational institutions were also present at the programme.
