SIBL finances 92 soybean cultivators of Subornochor

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) distributed agricultural finance among 92 soybean cultivators of  Subornochor of Noakhali at 4.0 per cent interest rate.

A discussion with local soybean cultivators was held recently at upazila complex of Subornochor.

Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim was present as the chief guest and distributed the sanction letters to the cultivators.

Deputy Managing Director of SIBL Mr. Md. Sirajul Hoque, Senior Policy Adviser of Netherlands Embassy Mr. Md. A K Osman Haruni, Country Manager of Solidaridad Network Asia Mr. Selim Reza Hasan, Chairman of Subornochor Upazila Parishod Mr. A H M Khairul Anam Chowdhury Selim and Chairman of Noakhali Sadar Upazila Parishod Mr. Shihab Uddin Shahin were present as special guests in the program.

Besides, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Sonali Bank Limited, Noakhali District Mr. Harun-or-Rashid and Agricultural Officer of Subornochor Upozila Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam was also present.
