Sustainability Day will be observed in Bangladesh on Monday, 14th October, 2019.
The ceremony will mark pilot of UNGC’s SME Toolkit Project, that is aimed at promoting SME entrepreneurs to help them expand market beyond Bangladesh.
Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, Chief Coordinator for SDG affairs in PMO, Government of Bangladesh, will be the chief guest in a discussion to mark the day.
Mia Seppo, UN Resident Coordinator, Bangladesh, Ms. Lila Rashid, Deputy General Manager, SME & Special Programmes, Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Md Mostaque Hasan, Chairman, Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), Mr. Simon Pickup UNICEF Bangladesh, Mr. Gunjan Bhahadur Dallakoti, ILO Bangladesh and Ms. Shahamin S. Zaman, ED, Global Compact Network Bangladesh will attend.
