UCB hands over donation cheque to AMDA International, Japan

United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) handed over a donation cheque for Taka twenty lac to the President of AMDA International, Japan Dr. Shigeru Suganami, MD., Ph.D under UCB’s CSR activities on Sunday.

The donation was made as financial support to AMDA Bangladesh & Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital for medical relief to the flood victims of Kurigram region.

Mr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Chairman of Executive Committee of UCB handed over the cheque.

Among others, Prof. Dr. Sarder A. Nayeem Ph. D, President of AMDA Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. Jonaid Shafiq Ph. D, Secretary General of AMDA Bangladesh; Mr. Sarder A. Razzak, Executive Director of AMDA Bangladesh and Dr. Md. Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan, Professor, Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka were also present at the event.
