Walton to accept bKash payment

Walton will accept payment through bKash from customers at its flagship outlets across the country.

The local brand of electronic products, Walton, recently signed a payment deal with the mobile financial service provider, bKash, in this regard.

According to the deal, bKash payment will be accepted at Walton flagship outlets, Walton Plaza.

The customers can also make their equated monthly instalment (EMI) payment for Walton products through bKash, according to a statement of bKash.

Walton Plaza is the sales outlet of Walton Bangladesh, the largest electronic, electric, home appliances product of Bangladesh.

Walton also exports products in Naigeria, Sudan, Ghana, South Africa, Myanmer, Nepal etc.

Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer of bKash and Nazrul Islam, Executive Director of Walton Plaza Bangladesh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at the corporate head office of Walton Plaza.

The customers have to display the QR code in their bKash app at the store and have it scanned to complete the payment.

They can also make the payment by dialling USSD channel *247#, then select the ‘3’ for payment option followed by some interactive steps to complete the payment.

Among others, Md. Mahbub Sobhan, Head of M-Commerce, Ahasanul Kabir, Channel Manager and Molla Abul Bashar, Account Manager of bKash and Eva Rizwana, Executive Director and Chief Coordinator of Marketing, S M Zahid Hasan, Executive Director (Policy, HR & Admin) and Senior Deputy Director Md. Abul Bashar Uzzal of Walton, were present during the signing ceremony.
