IN the last two years, the use of internet is known to have increased by a staggering six times in our country and its popularity among the youth is rising fast. With the power of information technology, we shall be able to wipe out poverty, illiteracy and backwardness from the country. The 3G internet has attracted more users with its high speed and I am sure we shall soon get more speed for the internet in our country. The internet speed in our country is still not satisfactory and often it is irritatingly slow. The use of Smartphone is on the increase, as the prices of Chinese Smartphones are quite affordable and so more and more people are buying those sets and using messaging services like Viber, Whatspapp, social media Facebook, and watching Youtube Videos. The price and speed of internet are yet to be competitive and I hope the telecommunication ministry will look into this matter and make internet affordable for everyone.
