World heralds Macron victory with V signs

A thrilling and tumultuous election campaign in France is over. Curtain has been drawn on an unbelievable drama. The French have elected a 39-year old man with little experience in politics.
Emmanuel Macron has finally walked the walk. He has made history. He has won the election by a long mile. He has smashed records. He is the youngest French leader since Napoleon Bonaparte. He is the ninth youngest political leader in the world, the youngest in G7 and the fifth youngest head of a democracy.
Macron, who never previously contested any election, now faces a heavily divided nation and the French have profound expectations from him. Macron may be inexperienced but he is the right candidate who truly represents the principles of The Fifth Republic.
The whole world has heralded the result of the French election with V signs. The decisive victory of Emmanuel Macron is a huge relief not only for the French and the European, but in fact for the whole world. A catastrophe of a Marine Le Pen presidency has fortunately been averted. A nightmare has been avoided. Populism has been restrained. France has been saved from the far-right grabbing the leadership.  A beacon of hope has shined up in an ocean of despair.
The French voters have made Europe safer by choosing Macron as their navigator when international conspiracies are being hatched to disintegrate the continent by nationalistic and parochial fervours.
Aiming at the French Muslims, Marine Le Pen made attempts to agitate the French voters by saying "In France, we drink wine whenever we want. In France we do not force women to wear the veil". Marine Le Pen thought she would win the hearts of the French by her anti-immigration and anti-Islam rhetoric. But the French people could realize that Muslim fanatics in reality want Muslims to be hated and the refugees to be denied any refuge so that hated Muslims and frustrated refugees could be recruited as jihadists to fight for the so-called Islamic State. By defeating Le Pen the French have foiled the conspiracy of ISIS.
Macron has a precarious road ahead. He has to face formidable challenges. He has to respond to the demands for change.  He is taking the command of a nation which is already divided, as are the United States, Britain and other democracies. If he stumbles, things would be clumsy once again and Ms Le Pen and others will be stronger in 2022 and France then could get into uncharted waters.
Macron's victory will undoubtedly influence many other elections in different parts of the world at a time when people of the globe are confused and uncertain about their future. People are being misled by many leaders. Some leaders are saying science is not as true as propagated. Some are even saying "Climate Change is a hoax". People are feeling marginalised. They are traumatised by faceless terrorism. They are being falsely taught that globalisation is the root of all evils. People are at a loss by economic stagnation, unresponsive governments, and tides of immigrants.
The door of Frexit is closed. France will stay in the European Union and Britons may think again whether they did right thing by opting for Brexit and they have still time to choose a different course.
Emmanuel Macron has proved that good political ideas do not necessarily need old fashioned political parties to win a national election. His political philosophy is simple and his goals are attainable. The French voters must get credit for being judicious and bold for taking an opportunity to create a New France and a New Europe. Will the British people follow the footsteps of the French people in their next general election to be held on  June 08, 2017? After victory, Emmanuel Macron addressing his nation said: "I will do all I can to be worthy of your trust and confidence". France and the world wish Macron Godspeed!
