A crane used for construction of light rapid transport infrastructure has collapsed in Indonesia's capital on early Sunday, killing four workers, said an official.
"The crane collapsed in East Jakarta this (Sunday) morning," an official of national disaster management agency told Xinhua news agency.
At around 05:00 am, the incident took place in Matraman district, according to police.
Police chief in East Jakarta Senior Commissioner Yoyon Tono Surya Putra said two workers died on the spot while two others succumbed to their wounds in the nearby Hermina hospital.
