Convicted war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayeedi passed away while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He was 83.
Dhaka Central Jail Jailer Mahbubul Islam confirmed the matter, reports UNB.
Sayeedi was taken to Shahabuddin Medical College in Dhaka yesterday (Sunday) after he complained of chest pain.
Later, the hospital authorities referred him to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University for better treatment.
