East West University Business Club has successfully organised BriefCase 2.0. The world could be crumbling down yet they are always living up to their reputation. To get BriefCase 2.0 running, the official registration began on June 18, 2020. More than 500 teams registered for this competition. It had a completely different vibe than ever with the entire event being held online due to the unavoidable situation around the globe. Even so, every round offered enough thrill, suspense and fun all at the same time.

The organisers segmented the entire event into three parts. In the case solving round, more than 500 teams battled the hard battle and only 50 teams marched forward into the semi-final with their splendid triumph. A total of 42 judges from different leading industries of Bangladesh evaluated more than 500 teams in the semi final round. The semi final round had its intensity, and thrill where competitors had to run a Facebook campaign for five days on Daraz Bangladesh Limited. Each team had the same task. A total of 32 expert judges from different industries monitored each teams' campaign and chose the winners of this round according to their reach, creativity and the content they provided. It ended on July 05, 2020. Only 10 teams stepped into the grand finale of BriefCase 2.0. The finale took place on July 10.  There were two expert judges namely, Nur Ibna Saeed, head of transport partnership and 3rd party logistics operation, Daraz Bangladesh Limited and Risalat Siddique from Analyzen.

In the final round the top ten teams were given a task to solve a case and give a video presentation based on their ideas. Both the judges analysed the presentations and prepared a questionnaire for each team. During the question answer session, the moderators of East West University Business Club and both the judges were present. The final took place on Google Meet due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After hours of hard work, dedication and discipline three teams came on top. Minhajur Rahman Joy, Md Foyez Alam, Ratul Sinha of Team Grey Matters from The University of Dhaka came as the second runner-up winning an award of Tk 10,000.

SM Abu Khalid Akash, Asif Iqbal Niloy and ABM Sheril Sarwar of Team Agun from North South University became the first runner-up and they were awarded an amount of Tk 15,000.
