When this writer reached the scene, a girl was sobbing and repeatedly saying, "How could that douchebag do this?" Sensing something terrible, the writer approached one of her close friends, who promised to kill the guy if he ever came across. More or less, the whole bunch was angry with Salman Saif, an allegedly 'vindictive' guy, accused of ruining their evening. So, what did he do?

It happened at a recent full-house concert in Dhaka where the famous Ronjon Mitro sang. Everything was going smoothly; thousands of viewers were recording Mr. Ronjon Mitro performing, and millions of selfies were being clicked peacefully. Then, this inauspicious moment came as Angel Sadia, one of the viewers, noticed something unusual while panning her phone's camera across the gallery. She saw a confident guy who was harmlessly enjoying the show without a smartphone in hand with a very unoffending smile.
Yes, you guessed it right. It's our guy, the culprit, Saif.
"His smiling face was so scary that I instantly fainted. I saw him staring at the stage for five minutes or more without moving his eyes anywhere else," said one of the eyewitnesses. Although she fainted instantly, how she could observe the accused for five minutes is unknown.
Police have arrested the culprit from his Banasree house as several cases were filed against him. Police chief Mohidul Hoque briefed the press, "I visited the crime scene, it was something I have never seen before… (breaks down in tears)... I hope the victims can gather enough strength to survive the trauma."
We talked to Maisha Maliha, another eyewitness, to find out how cheerful the accused was during the concert. She described his horrific cheers and headbangs, which are graphic and are not included in the article.
When asked which song she enjoyed the most, Maisha, after talking about the history of pop culture, confessed that she didn't remember any song names.
"Hey, I was enjoying it so much. Who cares about remembering the song name when enjoying the show? Right?"
Her boyfriend, Sadman Sakib, came to rescue her, saying, "Come on, she was traumatized by that scumbag, how could she remember a name?"
Whether he remembered any particular name, Sakib once again said 'Come on' relaxedly and said, "You know how hard it is to pamper a girl during a concert? One moment, you lose focus, and she is gone. I can assure you that I enjoyed the concert from the core of my heart; don't ask for the name of any song, okay?"
What is a concert? Modern-day definition says people gather together to take selfies, record videos, and do some other activities while some others will sing on stage.
That is only halfway. Half the work awaits you at home as you must edit all the pictures properly to look aesthetic, think of suitable captions, and upload them.
The competition gets so tough that while you might be busy having dinner, your friend will upload the edited pictures on Facebook and Instagram by then.
"You will fall behind in the race of life if you are lazy. You must sacrifice trivial things like food on time and sleep to shine in the social media sphere," motivated Sakib.
We talked to Ruhani Rakib, a sincere concert attendee who hasn't missed any big concert around Dhaka for the past five years. He elaborated on the basic requirements for attending a concert.
"Going to a concert to enjoy songs is a boomers' thing. Now, you have YouTube and Spotify to listen to unlimited music in the comfort of your home. Then why go to a concert wasting time and energy, not to mention a hefty amount of money? Of course, to make memories and store them."
Ruhani Rakib stared at the writer for a solid minute, and only after the writer nodded and said, 'Yes, you are right,' he started, "So you must have a high-end camera phone and good recording skill to begin with.
Having a boyfriend or girlfriend will make the experience heavenly. If you are a boy, don't go to a concert if you don't have the strength to carry your girl on your shoulders. And for the girls, a thunderous tone is a must, as you'll need to repeatedly scream 'oh my god', " said Rakib.
Saif's unprecedented crime seemed more visible when we discovered a group of viewers at the crime scene fighting over which singer performed. From Atif Aslam and Arijit Singh to Kishore Kumar and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, everyone claimed to have seen their favourite singer perform on stage. Some even expressed ecstasy about their dream come actual moment: headbanging in Freddie Mercury's 'We Will Rock You' live!
However, sources have confirmed the singer to be Ronjon Mitro. The forensic department of DMP also collected a few program leaflets where Ronjon Mitro's face can be seen.
So we talked to the famous singer Ronjon Mitro over the phone and to our biggest shock, he revealed that he didn't even go to the concert venue; he was at his home all the time!
"No, I didn't have to travel to the venue. The organizers only paid me to allow them to play some of my popular performances on a big screen. Viewers are usually so mesmerized by my melodious voice that they don't notice who or what is on stage; they see me through their smartphone's camera, so what's the big deal if there is just another screen behind their screens?"
