LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC has once again been recognised for its outstanding contributions to sustainable business practices and innovative environmental solutions at the prestigious SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
Organised by the Bangladesh Brand Forum, the awards celebrate organisations demonstrating exemplary leadership in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year, LHB won the Honourable Mention Award in the ‘Most Sustainable Energy Initiative of the Year’ category. The accolade was awarded in recognition of Geocycle operations, LHB’s sustainable waste management wing that drives the circular economy.
Ms Tamrin Chowdhury, Business Development Manager of Geocycle, received the award on behalf of LafargeHolcim Bangladesh.
The company’s consecutive successes at the SDG Brand Champion Awards, spanning six wins across multiple categories from 2023 through 2026, strongly reaffirm the company’s position as the sustainability leader in the building materials industry.
