Ekushey Padak-winning television actor and freedom fighter Jamal Uddin Hossain has passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Canada, according to bdnews24.com.
Doctors declared the veteran actor dead at the hospital in Calgary around 8:00 pm on Friday (Canada time), said another actor and theatre director Shamsul Alam Bakul.
The 81-year-old actor will be laid to eternal rest on Saturday after a funeral prayer in Calgary.
