A girl from Dhaka’s Pallabi has allegedly been killed by her next-door neighbour.
The victim was identified as Lamisa, a seven-year-old, bdnews24.com reports.
The suspect has been identified as Sohel, 32.
Police said the child’s body was recovered from a flat in a building in Pallabi Section 11.
They say Sohel severed her head from her body after the killing.
Hasan Bashir, chief of Pallabi Police Station, said: “Initially, we learnt that the child was murdered when her throat was slit after she was raped.”
