Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers across the country over 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today (Tuesday).
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; and at many places over Khulna division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a regular BMD bulletin this morning.
Highest rainfall, 141 mm, in the country was recorded in Barishal’s Khepupara in 24 hours till 6:00 am today, reports UNB.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country, read the bulletin.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
