A boat carrying Rohingya people has sunk off Cox's Bazar's Teknaf coast while attempting to enter Bangladesh.

Fishermen said 18 people were rescued alive, while 13 remain missing.
Those rescued have been handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The incident occurred in the Bay of Bengal near Shah Porir Dwip's Paschimpara boat terminal around 8am on Friday, said Lt Col Hanifur Rahman Bhuiyan, commanding officer of BGB Teknaf-2.
