Two bomb-like objects have been found at separate locations in Dhaka on Saturday, triggering panic and security alerts.

One was spotted beneath Mirpur-10 Metro Rail Station and the other at Farmgate.
Police cordoned off the Mirpur site and called in the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) bomb disposal unit.
“It is too early to say whether it is an improvised explosive device (IED),” he said.
CTTC Additional Commissioner Shamsul Haque said reports had come in of suspicious objects at two locations -- Mirpur and Tejgaon.
DMP Tejgaon Division Deputy Commissioner Ibne Mizan said a sack had been found beside a pillar beneath Farmgate Metro Rail Station.
“As it appeared suspicious, we called in the bomb disposal unit,” he said.
