“Two hundred buses have already been added to the BRTC fleet under Indian Line of Credit and 400 more are coming,” he said at BRTC office Motijheel while discussing about management of Eid service on Sunday, reports BSS.
The minister urged officials of the country’s state-run BRTC to improve its service during the Eid and restore its goodwill. He also underscored the need for making the BRTC a profitable organisation.
During the meeting, BRTC chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan and officials concerned were present.
Earlier, Country Director of Asian Development Bank Mamohon Parkash called on the minister and expressed his keen interest to impart training to drivers.
