BSF picks up BD national along Kurigram border

A Bangladeshi youth was picked up by the members of Indian Border Security Force from Khalishakothal bordering area of Fulbari upazila in Kurigram on Wednesday night.

The detainee was identified as Nurnobi Mia, 32, son of Moqbul Hossain of Khochabari village in the upazila.

Lt Cl SM Touhid-ul Alam, director of BGB battalion-15 of Lalmonirhat, said Nurnobi used to work at a brick kiln in Delhi.

BSF members of Karola camp picked him up from near pillar-934 when he was returning home from India around 10:30 pm, he said, adding that they are trying to get him back, reports UNB.
