A former student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) died after a bus hit him while crossing New Monsurabad road under Pahartoli station in the port city on Friday night.
The victim has been identified as Farhan Momen (27), student of Mechanical Engineering department of Cuet's 42nd batch and son of Mahbubur Rahman of Laxmipur, said Nayek Amir Hossain of the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Outpost.
Farhan was rushed to CMCH where the duty doctors declared him dead, according to a local news agency.
