An investigation report into the killing of former Teknaf councillor and Upazila Jubo League president Ekramul Haque during an alleged anti-drug operation in Cox’s Bazar has been submitted.

The report named 11 people as suspects, including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
On Sunday, prosecutors placed it before International Crimes Tribunal-2, headed by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury.
The incident occurred on the night of May 26, 2018, when the 46-year-old was killed in what was described as a gunfight with the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Noakhaliya Para of Sadar Union along the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive.
