An electrician was killed in a road accident at Choumohoni in Uzirpur upazila of Barisal on Saturday night.
The accident occurred when a battery-run auto-rickshaw collided with a motorcycle, leaving motorbike driver Titu Hawladar (36), hailing from Dhamsar village, dead on the spot and the pillion rider injured, according to police.
Officer-in-charge (Investigation) at Uzirpur Police Station, Helal Uddin said, acting on a tip-off, police recovered the body of Titu who was an electrician by profession and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy, reports UNB.
