Former Bangladesh Bank deputy governor Sitangshu Kumar Sur, also known as SK Sur Chowdhury, has been sentenced to three years in prison in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) over his failure to submit a wealth statement.

Judge Ayesha Nasrin of Dhaka Special Judges’ Court-2 handed down the verdict on Tuesday, bdnews24.com reported, citing ACC prosecutor Abul Kalam Azad.
