The government will weigh public demands over outgoing president Mohammad Shahabuddin but will ensure no one faces injustice, Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman has said.

He said on Sunday the government would scrutinise every aspect before taking a decision at the appropriate time.
Asaduzzaman urged the public to trust the prime minister and the cabinet to handle the issue responsibly.
“We will certainly give due importance to public demands, but we do not want anyone to be treated unfairly or become a victim of injustice,” he said.
“The government will carefully examine the matter and decide on the appropriate course of action at the right time.”
Asaduzzaman responded to questions after inaugurating a five-day training workshop organised by the Chattogram District Bar Association on Sunday.
