Mild heat wave likely to continue in five places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted that the ongoing mild heat wave is likely to continue in five places of the country in the next 24 hours from 9:00am today.

"Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Barisal divisions and the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna and Madaripur and it may continue. Due to excessive moisture content the discomfort may persist," said a BMD weather bulletin issued this morning, reports BSS. 

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
