The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a gazette notification approving the establishment of a government medical college in Narsingdi district.
The information was disclosed in a notification signed by Secretary of the Health Education and Family Welfare Division Kamruzzaman Chowdhury today (Sunday), BSS reports.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain, who took the initiative to establish a government medical college in his home district, is an elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Narsingdi-4 (Monohardi-Belabo) constituency and was sworn in on February 17 this year.
