Road, Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader left Dhaka for Singapore on Saturday morning for a routine health check-up.
Obaidul Quader left Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight around 8:30 am, according to local news portals.
Shaikh Walid Faiej, information and public relations officer at the Bridges Division, confirmed the information.
The Awami League has long been suffering from chronic heart and lung problems. On August 9 this year, he visited Singapore for a routine health check-up.
