A six-member judges’ committee has been constituted comprising of judges of both the divisions of the Supreme Court to conduct the selection process including formulation of policy over ‘Chief Justice Medal’.
Justice Borhanuddin, a judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, led a committee that also included the names of High Court division judges, Justice Farah Mahbub, Justice Md Akram Hossain Chowdhury, Justice S M Kuddus Zaman, Justice Sardar Md Rashed Jahangir and Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman.
Md Saifur Rahman, spokesperson of the Supreme Court, on Thursday issued a press release in this regard.
This committee will conduct the selection process including the formulation of policy for awarding the Chief Justice Medal.
It is learnt that this year’s Chief Justice Medal will also be awarded. The Chief Justice Medal will be awarded to the best and most efficient officers at all levels of the judiciary.
