Shahnewaz Parvez has been promoted to the permanent post of managing director of Titas Gas.
Petrobangla announced the decision in an office memo on Monday, reports bdnews24.com.
The memo said that, in light of the evaluation and recommendations of the Superior Selection Committee of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Corporation (Petrobangla), Shahnewaz Parvez, the general manager (technical cadre) of Petrobangla, who is currently serving as the acting managing director of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC (TGTD PLC), has been promoted to the post of managing director.
At the same time, his salary scale has been increased from Grade-3 to Grade-2.
It also said that Parvez will remain in the post until further instructions.
