Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has announced a media briefing after returning from Thailand amid mounting speculation over President Mohammed Shahabuddin's possible resignation.
The briefing has been scheduled for 5:00 pm on Friday at the parliament complex, a senior Parliament Secretariat said, bdnews24.com reports.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official said the briefing had been called over the “president's issue”.
