Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Saturday joined an organisational meeting with party leaders from several districts of Rangpur division as part of the party's drive to further strengthen and reorganise its grassroots units.
The meeting began in the afternoon at the BNP Chairman’s political office in the capital's Gulshan, said a release issued by the PM’s Press Wing.
Leaders from Nilphamari, Kurigram, Gaibandha and Lalmonirhat districts as well as Rangpur district and Rangpur metropolitan units have participated in the meeting.
The organisational meeting is aimed at reviewing party activities and reinforcing the BNP's organisational structure at the grassroots level.
