The two-day event will be held at the Abuja Continental Hotel under the theme, “Connecting Markets. Creating Opportunities. Building Partnerships.” It is being organised by ABBF and presented by Kingmansa, said a press release.

The summit will bring together businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, government representatives and trade organisations from Bangladesh, Nigeria and across Africa to explore new business opportunities and deepen economic cooperation.

According to the organisers, Nigeria, with a population of more than 230 million, offers substantial opportunities for Bangladeshi companies in garments and textiles, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, information technology, construction materials and consumer goods.

The event will also showcase Bangladesh’s manufacturing and export capabilities to African businesses.

The programme includes an international trade exhibition, business summit, keynote sessions, pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings, investment discussions, government and institutional engagement, a startup showcase, Business Excellence Awards and networking sessions.

Thousands of exhibitors, trade delegates, investors, policymakers, chamber representatives and corporate executives are expected to attend.

“This event is designed to create practical business connections between Africa and Bangladesh,” said Zahirul Haq, founder and president of ABBF.

“By bringing businesses and institutions together in Abuja, we aim to transform the strengths of both markets into long-term trade, investment and partnership opportunities”, he said.

Participation is open to exhibitors, business delegates, sponsors, speakers, startups and institutional partners. Interested organisations have been asked to confirm their participation by August 7, as exhibition booths and delegate places are limited.
