The fourth edition of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Summit is set to kick off in the city on April 21 aiming to showcase the sector’s possibilities and opportunities in local and international market.
Local and international ICT experts, researchers, government policy makers, students and BPO sector insiders will attend in number of seminars and discussions during the two-day summit at the Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka.
Prime Minister's ICT Adviser Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy is expected to inaugurate the summit.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar and state minister of ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak will also address the summit.
Campaigns will also be run before the summit to in public and private universities and some related institutions in order to make the sector popular.
The ICT Division in collaboration with Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing is organising the summit.
