Chattogram city dwellers from now on will be paying all City Corporation fees online through BRAC Bank Limited.
Through state-of-the-art Digital Banking platform, Agent Banking channel and Branch Banking of BRAC Bank, the people of Bangladesh’s commercial capital will be able to pay Holding Tax, Trade License Fee, All Estate Rents, Commercial Space Rents, Development fees, Lease Rents, etc., online with convenience.
This came as BRAC Bank Limited signed an agreement with Chattogram City Corporation.
Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Deputy Managing Director and CRO, BRAC Bank; and Md. ShamsuddohaChy, Joint Secretary and Chief Executive officer, Chattogram City Corporation; signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of Abu Jahed Mohammed Nasir Uddin, Mayor Chattogram City Corporation City Corporation’s Head Quarters recently.
Commenting on the initiative, BRAC Bank’s Chowdhury Akter Asif said: “People of the port city will now be able to pay all fees anytime anywhere beyond stipulated banking hours. This will provide convenience and delightful banking experience to the customers with utmost safety and security of the electronic transactions. This will go in line with the government’s vision of Digital Bangladesh. We are proud and honoured to have partnered with Chattogram City Corporation in this digital initiative. BRAC Bank will continue to bring in new technology and innovation to give more convenience to the customers.”
